### Job Description

Calpine is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Care Assistant to join our expanding team in Nelson, NZ. As a pivotal member of our customer service department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. ### Key Responsibilities

- **Customer Interaction:** Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions. Handle inquiries and provide accurate information regarding our services and products.
- **Issue Resolution:** Listen to customer concerns and resolve issues through effective problem-solving and negotiation. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and satisfactory resolutions.
- **Data Management:** Maintain accurate customer records and document interactions in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Ensure data is updated and organized for team use.
- **Feedback Collection:** Actively seek customer feedback through surveys and direct communication to identify areas for improvement in our services or products.
- **Research:** Conduct necessary research to provide customers with detailed information, assist in resolving complex inquiries, and support the team in service enhancement initiatives.
- **Product Knowledge:** Develop a thorough understanding of Calpine's services and products to provide informed responses to customer queries and enhance overall customer engagement.
- **Support Initiatives:** Participate in training sessions and team meetings to improve personal skills and contribute ideas to enhance customer service strategies.
- **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with team members to maintain a positive and efficient working environment, sharing best practices and insights relevant to customer care.

### Requirements

#### Experience and Education
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or support role preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is advantageous.
