Management (Community Services & Development) HELP (Auckland Sexual Abuse HELP Foundation) was established in 1982 and is an independent community organisation that provides a range of quality services to women, young people, children, and families who are impacted by sexual abuse or assault. The Crisis service provides 24/7 phone support, face-to-face short-term sessions, support with police interviews, medical examinations, court processes, and follow-up wrap-around support by social workers for clients and their families. The team consists of approximately 35 staff covering a variety of roles, including Team Leaders, Crisis response Counsellors (Day and After hours), Social Workers, Court Support and administrative staff. We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and inspirational person to lead our exceptional crisis response team at HELP. The Role The Crisis Services Manager will oversee all aspects of the Crisis Team. This includes providing clinical consultations and operational oversight, ensuring effective and quality service delivery, staff management and growth, property, reporting, budgeting, and maintaining stakeholder relationships. The Crisis Service Manager reports to the Executive Director and works collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to add value, through design of client-centred solutions that align with HELP's vision, charter and values whilst upholding the organisation's commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Key aspects of the role: To provide leadership, management and clinical consultation to the Crisis team. Manage the agency response so that survivors of sexual abuse, their whanau and friends receive high-quality support and the appropriate response to their needs. Understand community needs and develop the service to meet these needs, creating either new or expanded services. Work with and support other social agencies that support this work. About you: You have a combination of significant clinical and management experience. You are a member of a Professional Governing body. You have a post-graduate qualification in Counselling, Psychology, or Psychotherapy. You will bring an understanding of and commitment to, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and have experience with Maori and Pacific organisations and communities.
