You will have the opportunity to play a key role in managing the efficient and smooth operations of a broad range of HR administrative functions, including enquiry triage, correspondence, and maintaining and updating HR systems as required.Working alongside our Chief Advisor and Senior Advisor Health Safety, you will also provide coordination support and actively contribute to Health and Safety reporting and success matrices.No day will be the same; with your abundance of energy and drive, you'll be taking complete ownership of the day-to-day activities of the role while actively looking for process improvements and having a commitment to continuous learning.You will have great attention to detail and accuracy with a natural solutions-focused attitude. Ideally, you will also bring:Previous experience successfully supporting HSW/HR administration activities.Previous experience as a Coordinator or Senior Administrator, preferably in a People Capability team.Excellent communication skills with the ability to forge strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.Experience with meeting coordination and minute-taking.Proven success working with a variety of technology and systems, and confidence in learning new technology.Experience managing and administrating HSW or other HR systems is a definite plus.Ability to present data accurately and effectively, including providing basic analysis.Maritime NZ recognises and respects te Tiriti o Waitangi, and we are committed to working with Maori to build strong, meaningful, and enduring relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.We aim to be a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and has a sense of belonging.
