Reporting to the Senior Manager - People Partnering & Advice, your focus is to support our busy P&C functions including advisory, recruitment and payroll teams to provide seamless coordination services and support. You'll have input to developing our business processes and build strong relationships with our advisors and People Leaders across the organisation.
The key focus of this role is to become our team's HR system expert, providing seamless support across HR processes, including advisory, payroll, and recruitment workflows. You'll take ownership of position management, administer critical tools like SharePoint, and serve as the trusted first point of contact for People & Culture enquiries. With a strong emphasis on building relationships across the organisation, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to projects, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build a career as an HR generalist or specialist.
This role would suit someone who can bring:
Recent and relevant HR and recruitment coordination experience.Experience advising and supporting applicants, people, and managers on HR process and best practice.Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 tools and systems i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and use of or ability to learn other tools i.e. OneNote, Planner, Teams, Bookings etc.Experience connecting people with information, resources, and advisors to solve queries and issues relating to HR.Experience proofing documentation, creating content for templates, email, print and online communications, recording and distribution of meeting notes and actions.Agile in thinking and working, comfortable working in both a non-structured and structured way including flexible by default working.Ability to work with ambiguity and uncertainty especially in times of change.Efficient and effective planning and prioritising of work to meet deadlines and ability to negotiate conflicting requirements on your time.Demonstrate matauranga Maori, understanding of tikanga, and applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi in a work setting.Demonstrate a willingness to upskill and increase your cultural capability.We understand transferable skills can come from experience gained from outside of work.
