XPO Exhibitions, the largest independently owned events company in New Zealand, is on the hunt for a newly created role - a Content & Social Media Coordinator to join our awesome team.
As our new Content & Social Media Coordinator, you'll be responsible for an array of exciting tasks that'll keep you on your toes!
You'll be creating exceptional e-newsletters and social media content that generate cut through in a saturated market to drive visitor attendance to some of New Zealand's most iconic events.
You'll also be liaising with external suppliers, helping to deliver marketing plans, wow sponsors with creative campaign ideas and working onsite at events to capture, create and share content.
Here's a list of key responsibilities that you'll have: Create relevant and engaging content for social media posts, stories and reels that resonate with our various audiences.
Ensuring each piece of content meets brand guidelines in terms of look, feel and tone.Prepare, write, edit and upload online marketing and promotional communications (website, e-newsletters and post-show surveys).Liaise with the internal team and external suppliers to ensure everything runs smoothly.Execute sponsorship commitments in consultation with key partners.Be part of our onsite event marketing team – working with exhibitors, chefs, speakers and visitors to create compelling online content.Manage inboxes and incoming messages from our visitors and exhibitors.Help with data cleansing and other marketing administrative tasks.If you're a positive, hardworking individual who's up for a challenge, this is the role for you!
To be considered for this role, you'll need to have the following key skills and attributes:  A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field.Experience using social media in a commercial environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience using digital platforms (AI Tools, Facebook Ad Manager, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, e-newsletter software, website CMS, online surveys, etc.
)Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere Pro & After Effects)A strong work ethic, with a positive outlookGood time management and ability to work on multiple tasks at oncePrevious experience in a marketing positionIn return, you'll be rewarded with a dynamic career where no two days are the same.
