Consultant Psychiatrist, Mental Health & Addictions at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, AucklandSalary Range dependant on experience: $185,380 - $267,980 (ASMS SECA) Assistance with obtaining a visa/Immigration Advisor assistance Our integrated locality-based child and adolescent services in the Auckland - South of Counties Manukau Health, provide clinically and culturally responsive specialist mental health care for those with serious mental health and addiction problems. We also provide consultation and liaison with primary care partners for those with mild to moderate concerns. We cover the culturally rich communities of South Auckland including Otahuhu, Mangere, Otara and also across the East Auckland region.
Our CAMHS teams are seeking to appoint a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to work within the multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical oversight and best practice assessment and treatment to tamariki (children) and rangatahi (youth). You will work mainly from our different bases at Otahuhu, and or Springs Rd East Tamaki but will also have the opportunity to work from other clinics as well as providing clinical consultant liaison to health professionals in primary care practices and schools.
You will be supported through the recruitment process with a dedicated Consultant working with you through the job offer, council registration and helping you settle in once you arrive!
