Support Worker - Te Kauwhata and Huntly (Casual)HealthCare NZ is a leading provider of in-home and community-based health, rehabilitation, nursing, mental health and disability support. Our aim is to support people to live as independently as possible, for as long as possible and to maintain their independence regardless of age, injury, illness or disability.
Are you looking to make a real difference in your community? We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers to work within our Community Services. Whether you are looking for flexibility around other commitments or would prefer regular rostered shifts, we have a variety of permanent (full-time and part-time) and casual options on offer.
What does a Support Worker do? As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can be varied, and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:
Meal preparationCommunity outings and integrationGiving medicationPersonal cares (showering, toileting etc)Home managementWhat's in it for you? You will earn between $23.38 - $29.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.

Whilst you will be part of a large national organisation, you will join a dedicated and close-knit team.
What are we looking for?
