Health, Safety & Wellbeing Lead

Details of the offer

Health, Safety & Wellbeing LeadLocation: Albany, Auckland (however we're open to NZ-remote for the right person).
Start Date: As Soon As Possible (Immediate Start Preferred)
A career with EROAD offers the unique opportunity to work in a fast-growing organisation that is at the forefront of in-vehicle technology, enhancing road safety, productivity, and reducing environmental impact. EROAD's mission is to deliver intelligence you can trust, for a better world tomorrow.
What We're looking for:
Are you ready to step in and develop your career in a dynamic global business? We're looking for a health and safety all-rounder to join our global people and capability team. You'll enjoy working as both a hands-on 'doer' and trusted advisor in H&S, and are looking for the autonomy and growth of a new opportunity with lots of room to make it your own. Health and safety is core to our work at EROAD, and as we support our customers, it's equally important we are leading the way ourselves.
About the Role:
The Health, Safety & Wellbeing Lead is all about building solid foundations, while partnering with our leaders in the development, implementation and continuous improvement. Done well this role results in lifting others up, enabling them to bring health, safety and wellbeing to life across our people, our customers and our operations.
You'll have a love for:
Integrating health, safety and wellbeing good practice into team ways of working.
Ensuring we're both internationally compliant, pragmatic and doing the right thing for our people, contractors and customers.
Being the point of contact for our team on all things health, safety and wellbeing, meaning you can coach them in real-time on the right things to do.
Building stakeholder relationships across dispersed teams, contractors and suppliers, connecting-dots and enabling others.
Storytelling health, safety and wellbeing while you present to others and facilitate conversations to raise awareness and understanding.
Skills and Experience:
We're looking for someone with around 5 years experience, and you could have any number of backgrounds including health and safety, HR or operations, across different industries. You'll have proven experience in H&S both inside a business and with contractors, and a drive to grow and develop your career.
Not sure you meet every one of the requirements in our Position Description? We'd still love to hear from you, because for this role we need a base in H&S, but attitude, mindset and approach are just as important for your success.
Why you'll love working at EROAD:
EROAD is a true Kiwi success story in the tech sector! Publicly listed since 2012, we are represented on the NZX and ASX, and continue to grow rapidly across NZ, Australia, and the USA.

EROAD fosters a sense of community and belonging through fun and collaborative workplace initiatives.
In our Albany office, we offer free on-site parking, are in close proximity to Albany bus station, and encourage flexible working.
Join EROAD and be part of an organisation in growth mode. Your skills and expertise will make a significant impact. We are going places, and we would love you to join us. We can't wait to hear from you!
