The German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (GNZCC) is dedicated to fostering business connections and creating opportunities between Germany and New Zealand. As the largest European chamber in New Zealand, we are uniquely positioned to support both New Zealand and German businesses in navigating an increasingly competitive global market. We are looking for an organised and curious Consultant who is fluent in both English and German to join our small team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to dive into new topics with enthusiasm and dedication, this position could be a great fit for you.
Please note: Due to the time difference with Germany, some evening calls will be required.
Join our Team as our Consultant! What you'll Do Conduct research and draft materials on industry and market topics, with a focus on New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, and Germany.
Write and update industry reports, keeping to project timelines.
Create presentations, studies, and a range of context for communication materials tailored to each project.
Research market entry information and match businesses with potential partners.
Collect and analyse data on macroeconomic trends, demographics, and industry-specific statistics for different economic sectors.
Build and analyse spreadsheet models to support data-driven insights.
Provide general support for project and department operations.
Keep records, databases, and files organized and up to date.
Assist with other tasks and projects as needed.
Who You Are You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in German or being bilingual is a must.
You are highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
You show strong attention to detail and accuracy and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
You can quickly grasp and engage with diverse subject areas.
You are highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
