Our Company Green Mouse Computing Limited (previously Cambridge Computer Services) has been operating in the Cambridge and greater Waikato area for over 23 years, providing IT products and services to thousands of business and domestic customers.
Our Opportunity We are seeking an enthusiastic person, keen to get a start in the IT industry, who is willing to learn, to join our current team of 3 in our Cambridge office.
This is a customer facing role providing assistance to our clients from small businesses to 'mom and dad' computer operators.
Good communication skills, patience and perseverance are required, but above all, a passion for learning all things IT is essential.
On the job training in real world conditions is the opportunity we offer.
Skills and Experience This would suit someone currently studying IT and looking for work experience plus the ability to earn an income.
Knowledge of all currently available Windows operating systems.
Knowledge of the installation and operation of MS Office and other business applications including Antivirus software, Web browsers, email apps etc..
Knowledge of the assembly and maintenance of all hardware components for Workstations, Laptops, printers and routers in particular.
Have sound troubleshooting skills and methodologies.
The Applicant must: Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Be eligible to work in New Zealand;
A current, clean,  Full NZ Drivers Licence is required.
Have excellent organisational skills;
Be enthusiastic and willing to listen and learn.
