Fresh Meats NZ is part of the Integrated Foods Group, which is a food processing and agribusiness with large scale farming in Gisborne.Fresh Meats NZ has an alternate day processing schedule, primary processing (Slaughter) one day and secondary processing (Boning) the next, every day is different and allows you to gain experience in both areas of the process.We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Compliance Improvement Manager (CIM) to join our team.The Compliance Improvement Manager (CIM) will play a critical role in enhancing our compliance frameworks and processes. You will work collaboratively with various departments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.The CIM will:Critically analyse the current compliance system and associated processes to develop a baseline of how the current compliance system operates.Identify inefficient or wasteful processes and produce a plan to eliminate these.Identify and map out the relationship the current compliance system has with any other plant systems.Research new compliance equipment and techniques to ensure the company is modern and current.Develop and present an extensive compliance system improvement project that clearly identifies the improvements, implementation plan, change management plan, training plan, cost, etc.Prior to implementation, model potential outcomes of the proposed system changes.Track the progress by collecting data on all system changes made.The ideal candidate will have:At least 3 years of experience as a Compliance Manager in the Food/Meat Industry.Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards.Experience with I-Auditor or I-Leader.If you are passionate about compliance and continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you!
