Communications Specialist - Work From Home

Job Description:

FirstEnergy is seeking a dedicated and independent Communications Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a work-from-home position based in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ, with the opportunity for career growth within our organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a communications role and possess strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:- Develop and implement communication strategies to effectively convey the company's messages to internal and external stakeholders- Create engaging content for various communication channels, including press releases, social media posts, and company newsletters- Manage the company's social media presence and monitor online conversations about the brand- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication and make recommendations for improvement- Collaborate with team members on special projects as needed

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms- Experience with graphic design and video editing is a plus- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
