Our Client Bowel Cancer New Zealand is a nationwide, patient focused charity dedicated to beating bowel cancer through life saving awareness, education, advocacy, research and support. The goal of everyone at Bowel Cancer NZ is to reduce the impact of bowel cancer on New Zealanders and communities and ultimately, to ensure that no more lives are lost to this silent killer. For further information go to The Role Based in Auckland and reporting to the Communications and Campaigns Manager you will be responsible for the execution of external communications to ensure a strong public profile and effective public engagement in order to support Bowel Cancer NZ's (BCNZ) strategic plan and objectives. Working with a small and dedicated team, you will enhance BCNZ's reputation and raise awareness of the brand, its research, educational, fundraising and campaigning work. This 15-month fixed-term role will require you to work 24 hours per week from home and attend monthly or bi-monthly team meetings depending on your location. You will also receive a monthly home office allowance in addition to your salary. Your Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you will be a highly motivated self-starter who is results driven and passionate about communication. You will hold strong copy writing skills and be well versed in the art of crafting engaging content and infographics to deliver via social media and EDM's. Technically you will hold strong computer skills and ideally be experienced in the management of WordPress, Facebook Ads Manager, Salesforce, Google Analytics and have a good understanding of basic SEO.
