Reporting to the Manawa Bay Centre Manager, this is a senior role within the Centre Management team working closely with the Centre Manager and will be required to be Acting Centre Manager in the absence of the Centre Manager.
As the Commercial Marketing Manager, you will also be responsible for setting strategic direction and delivering on tactical marketing campaigns to achieve agreed business objectives including maximising sales, and customer visitation for the Centre and enhancing the overall customer experience. You will work closely with retailers to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and champion sustainability initiatives in collaboration with the Centre Manager. Ensuring the Centre is promoted and marketed sustainably to the highest industry standard, developing, and maintaining a highly relevant and dynamic profile for the Centre within the community at large.
What you'll bring to the role
5 -7 years' previous experience in a high-level Marketing role
Experience with social media from a commercial perspective, understanding social media trends of the modern digital age
Proven record of successful Marketing campaigns
Proven experience accurately briefing agencies / outsourced design team
Exposure to brand management and evolution
Digital marketing experience
Proactive, hands-on, uses initiative, demonstrates self-motivation and drive
Interacts confidently with others, builds strong relationships through mutual respect, questioning and listening skills
Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure
Idea generator and visionary – ability to further proposition or brand narrative development
Understands business principles, drivers, opportunities and threats and utilises these to enhance business performance
See clients/customers and stakeholders as paramount and works to anticipate their needs and ensure their satisfaction
Is results focused, enthusiastic and driven to achieve personal and work goals: sets challenges and overcomes obstacles and setbacks
Ability to work on multiple tasks at any one time while maintaining high quality standards
A perceptive individual with strong listening and communication skills
