My client is a high-profile commercially focused manufacturing organisation that has increased capacity in the last three years and plans to continue this growth. They are highly successful, recession-proof, and now is the time for you to join this organisation reporting to a high-performing CFO.

About the Role:
This newly created role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and has the primary focus of business partnering with the Executive and Senior Management. You will deliver financial analysis and insights on drivers of cost and performance to identify opportunities to enhance performance and productivity to meet short and long-term organisational goals.

This role has responsibility for the Annual Planning Cycle (APC), including the annual budget process, rolling forecasts, and long-term plans. You will have two direct reports.

Main Responsibilities:Business Partnering: Work collaboratively with the Executive and senior management to embed company processes and improve financial accountability and performance.Manage the Annual Planning Cycle: Including the Annual Budget process, rolling forecasts, and long-term plans.Develop and deliver analytics: And BI tools to inform business improvement and enhanced organisational performance.Deliver performance monitoring: Insights and reporting.Develop and implement Commercial and Pricing strategies: And processes with customers and stakeholders.Lead and grow: The performance and capability of two Management Accountants. About You:
You will be an engaging, professional individual with a strategic commercial approach to your work but also prepared to be hands-on and in the trenches with your team when required. This is not a desk-bound role!

You must have the following Skills/Experience:Professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA/CIMA)Significant New Zealand experience at a senior level in financial and management accounting within a product-based industry.In-depth understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and activity-based or standard costing.Proficient with financial modelling, have Advanced Excel skills, and ideally Power BI experience.Strong capability in coaching, developing others, and lifting performance.A commercially savvy individual who can work at pace and push back when required.Proven business partnering experience along with stakeholder engagement, and have a high level of communication and presentation skills.
