About the Role
We have a great opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team on a part-time basis for 20–25 hours a week. This individual will be a strategic thinker, who is driven to help lead the way in providing sound advice and financial input. They will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, month-end closing procedures, tax reporting, financial analysis, and year-end financial reporting. They will also be involved in assisting with budgeting and forecasting, system testing and implementation, as well as supporting year-end audits and the preparation of financial statements.

System Testing and Implementation
About You
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional certificate.
Proven experience (4-6 years) in accounting, with a focus on month-end processes, year-end reporting, and financial statement preparation.
Strong knowledge of GST and FBT compliance and preparation.
Experience with Dynamic 365 Business Central (preferable but not essential), or other equivalent accounting software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proactive, shows great initiative.
