The Commercial Business Partner will bring strong knowledge of commercial best practice.
This position manages the relationship between internal stakeholders and external suppliers and provides relevant and timely commercial support and advice.
The Commercial Business Partner will ensure that all commercial contracts and relationships comply with the organisation's commercial framework to achieve organisational expectations, minimising commercial risk and optimising value for money.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide commercial advice to senior leaders to support their decision making.Manage the relationship between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.Ensure compliance of all commercial contracts and relationships with the organisation's commercial framework.To be successful as Commercial Business Partner, the appointee requires:Excellent relationship management skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective business relationships at all levels within an organisation.Relevant experience partnering with senior leaders within a complex and dynamic environment.Approachable and open operating style with a 'can do' attitude and desire to achieve workable solutions.Demonstrated commitment to service excellence through customer focus, continuous improvement, and innovative approaches.A tertiary qualification in Commercial Management or a related discipline with a minimum of 5-7 years post-qualifying experience.Proven experience in complex commercial negotiations in multi-disciplinary environments.Direct experience at senior levels in a commercial or related role in the Public/Private Sector and/or central government.Proven ability to maximise benefits and minimise risks in medium to longer term arrangements.What we offerAt Customs, we aim to create a great place to work, where our people have a sense of belonging and the capability and desire to meet our future challenges.
