Nga korero mo te turanga – About the role

We are seeking a dynamic manager to oversee the vision for our Collections Strategy and Access Team.

Responsibilities include the operational management of our collections budget, overseeing content acquisition, and proactively ensuring that user-centric and evidence-based decision-making guides the development of diverse and accessible resources. You will engage in publisher and vendor negotiations, making informed recommendations to library leadership.

This is a full-time permanent role based at our Hillcrest campus. However, we are willing to consider applications to work a minimum of 0.8 FTE. Salary will be in the range $96,956 to $107,177 pro-rated, per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. While there is an expectation for staff to be onsite at certain times, the Library supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
