We are looking for a Lead Ambassador for Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour as Digital Marketing & Creative Manager .
The ambassador should have an eye for detail, a passion for creating magnifique luxury experiences for our guests, and developing a wonderful team.
Job Description Position Overview: To promote and lead all areas of Sofitel Wellington (SW) and Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour (SAVH) marketing activities including digital design, copy content, social media activity, and media and influencer activities.
Oversee all digital presence of both SW and SAVH with a focus on targeted Instagram and Facebook posts.
To drive both hotel outlets including F&B outlets, banquets, and any other hotel area or activity, into the public forums to generate local and international interest and revenue.
Act as the custodian of the Sofitel Brand standards as they relate to Marketing including digital guidelines, collateral, and visuals – for all internal and external documentation.
Provide assistance to the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) and both SW and SAVH General Managers to deliver tactical campaigns and other digital marketing initiatives.
Be the main focal point for all creative activities, assisting the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing to bring to life new initiatives.
Our Ambassador will: Handle content management of all online profiles as well as branded sites for SW and/or SAVH.
Manage marketing campaigns and marketing activity calendars to ensure maximum visibility and awareness of events and promotions.
Project manage content acquisition of marketing assets including photography shoots and video filming.
Assist DOSM with end-to-end management of tactical campaigns from briefing through to delivery.
Work with agencies to assist with SW & SAVH hotel signage production and installation.
Create template designs for internal and guest-facing documentation in line with Sofitel Brand Standards.
Provide support and guidance to the DOSM, department heads, and General Managers for online activation ideas, including training and oversight into SW & SAVH content on hotel micro-sites.
Lead periodic audits of hotels digital channels, making improvements as needed.
Work closely with the revenue manager and commercial team to ensure all 3rd party websites are optimised for visuals and content is up to date.
Work with Social Influencers on family/campaign opportunities after analysing their online profile and content to ensure they are in line with our image and vision.
Manage social influencer and media site visits, stays, and experiences.
Work with partners and sponsors to build relevant content on their owned digital channels to maximize benefit and ancillary revenues to SW and SAVH.
Agency management, negotiating on standards, delivery, and workflow where required for third-party activations.
Integration of campaigns across platforms ensuring a consistent and smooth customer journey.
Ensure accuracy of content, delivery of customer engagement, and tone of voice appropriate for the respective brand.
All collateral is provided with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Update internal imagery and creatives on guest-facing message panels (e.g., Digital screens in lobby, conference floors, in-room TVs, and lift promotions).
Update SW & SAVH Ambassador e-signatures.
Ensure legal and statutory compliance of all marketing material and digital presence for SW and SAVH.
Manage all marketing-related IT platforms including but not limited to social media profiles, Yext, Google Maps, and Accor digital library.
Attend and action as necessary all action outcomes as it relates to marketing and communications from hotel internal meetings including Revpro, HOD SMART Meetings, and luxury forums.
Any other reasonable request within your range of competence as required by your Supervisor or Management.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on the hospitality or travel industry preferred.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Strong creative thinking skills to develop engaging campaigns and content.
Ability to stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
