We are seeking an experienced contract Cloud Azure Architect to lead the cloud design and deployment for a high-profile SAP implementation on Azure. This role requires deep expertise in Azure architecture and SAP integration, including high-level and detailed design, work breakdown structure creation, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a critical role in helping build the right Azure components and architecture, working closely with stakeholders, including Microsoft and System Integrator (SI) vendors.Key Responsibilities:Cloud Architecture Design: Lead the creation of high-level and detailed designs on Azure tailored for an SAP environment, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.Project Planning & Work Breakdown: Develop and manage the work breakdown structure, outlining project phases and deliverables for SAP on Azure implementation.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Microsoft and SI vendors to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and technical specifications.Best Practices & Compliance: Establish and enforce Azure best practices, focusing on compliance, data protection, and performance standards for SAP workloads.Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and operational guidelines for internal and external teams.Team Leadership & Support: Provide guidance to cloud and SAP teams, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to meet project requirements.Qualifications:Experience: 8+ years in cloud architecture, with a minimum of 3 years specializing in Azure and SAP on Azure implementations.Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Azure architecture, SAP integration on Azure, virtual networking, Azure governance, and security.Project Management: Experience in defining and executing work breakdown structures and project roadmaps for large-scale implementations.Collaboration Skills: Proven track record of working with external vendors, including Microsoft and SI partners, in complex cloud deployments.Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, SAP on Azure certifications.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work on a cutting-edge SAP implementation on Azure.Collaboration with industry-leading partners, including Microsoft.A dynamic, supportive team that values innovation and professional growth.This role is ideal for a proactive, solutions-driven Cloud Azure Architect who is ready to lead a transformative SAP project on Azure.
