Te whiwhinga mahi| The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Registered nurse with orthopaedic experience to join our Surgical Resource Nursing Team at Waikato Hospital. The Clinical Nurse Specialist role is based in Acute Orthopaedics.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupports the acute orthopaedic patient journey both as an acute inpatient and those waiting at home for acute surgeryProvides clinical support/guidance for patients and staffSupports the management of orthopaedic patients in non-orthopaedic wardsUpdates education resources, policies, and proceduresThe role is part of the Surgical Resource Nurses committed to providing a supportive team alongside the Orthopaedic Service to provide excellent care for our patients and whanau.
Minimum RequirementsA proficient or expert Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years experience ideally in OrthopaedicsPost-graduate qualification or working towardsA strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work independentlyAdaptability, flexibility, and agilityIf you are an enthusiastic, motivated nurse and believe this opportunity is for you, we welcome your application.
