Mo te tunga | About the role This exciting opportunity is a Clinical Administrator role that supports the Gastroenterology Department and is ideal for someone who is a team player and has a customer-centric approach.
In this role you will provide administration support, which includes transcription and dictation duties. You will also be involved in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as other ad hoc administrative tasks.
As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claims settlement, this role has been mapped to National Band 3/Profile 3.
Our ideal candidate will bring:
Clinical Administrator experience would be highly advantageousExperience in transcriptions would be very beneficialKnowledge of medical terminology (not essential)Data entry or typing skills (50 – 70 WPM)Great communication and relationship-building skillsExperience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookStrong time management and problem-solving skillsExperience using a Patient Management System would be an advantage; however, full training will be providedAttention to detail and accuracy"Ko nga tangata, te matua mahi - Putting people at the heart of all we do" We are committed to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its principles by ensuring our partnership with Maori are at the forefront of all our conversations.
