We are dedicated to providing an accessible, friendly, non-judgmental service that priorities the needs of the people we see.
He Korero mo te turanga - About the Role This is an exciting time to join Te Tahi Youth and to develop your nursing career. We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Nurse to assist us with our growth and development. You will play a crucial role in supporting and empowering rangatahi to reach their full potential. You will do this by providing professional and high-quality holistic care to rangatahi, who present with a diverse range of life experiences.
Many rangatahi we work with have mental health concerns/been through state care/experience complex family dynamics and/or have adverse childhood experiences.
What makes us unique is our ability to provide a wide range of services in one place. You will work alongside passionate Social Workers, Youth Workers, Employment Navigators and Counsellors to ensure rangatahi get the support they need to be the best version of themselves.

Have a current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate and NZNO registration.Have a non-judgemental attitude and affinity for rangatahi with a passion to see them fulfil their potentialExercise cultural competency and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Pasifika protocolsBe a team player with a strong work ethic and collaborate with other professionals to coordinate comprehensive support servicesHave Youth Health and Mental Health experienceProvide care and support for rangatahi, recognising the populations not currently well serviced in our health systemHave an ability to build rapport and trusting relationships If you are an enthusiastic and dedicated Nurse who is committed to making a difference in the lives of young people, we would love to hear from you.
