Have experience working with youth and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing this groupBe aware of issues facing young people and understand youth cultureHave excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to handle conflict and challenging situations with an open and engaging mannerBe able to build and maintain positive relationships with a range of clients and community contactsHave excellent computer skills and experience with client management documentation and systemsDemonstrate empathy and resilienceHave an openness to and enjoyment of differences in values, beliefs and cultural practicesBe able to pass a Vulnerable Children's Safety checkPresbyterian Support aims to create a better life for everyone. We have sites across the upper South Island covering the Tasman & Marlborough (Te Tau Ihu o te waka a Maui), West Coast (Te Tai Poutini) and Canterbury districts (Otautahi & Hakatere).
