Since 2015, we've partnered with government, industry leaders, and farmers to reduce harm and build a safer future for farming communities. We are embarking on an exciting five-year partnership with ACC to implement the Farm Without Harm strategy, aimed at halving farming fatalities and injuries by 2029.As we continue to drive sector-wide change, we are looking for a visionary and results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organisation through this critical phase of growth.About the RoleThe CEO will provide strategic leadership and operational expertise, ensuring the successful execution of Safer Farms' initiatives. As the face of the organisation, you will collaborate with key stakeholders, including ACC, WorkSafe, government bodies, and farming communities, to build a culture of safety across the sector.You will also spearhead the growth of our membership base, demonstrating value to members and making Safer Farms the primary platform for farmers and organisations serious about making sector-wide safety changes.This is a unique opportunity to lead an organisation that is setting the standard for safety in New Zealand's agricultural sector.Key Responsibilities:Lead the execution of the Farm Without Harm strategy, with a focus on driving farmer uptake of safety initiatives.Collaborate with sector organisations to ensure the farm safety message resonates and is widely adopted across farming communities.Ensure successful delivery of contractual obligations with ACC, including reporting and milestone delivery.Drive membership growth, demonstrating value and positioning Safer Farms as the leading organisation for those serious about improving farm safety.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government, industry, and the farming community.Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.About YouTo succeed in this role, you will be a dynamic and strategic leader with proven experience in operational execution and stakeholder collaboration.
