This includes accountability for Scott Base, the Antarctic research station which supports science in the Ross Sea region.Building on New Zealand's research in Antarctica over six decades, Antarctica New Zealand has a strong commitment to the natural environment, and is recognised as a leader in the international treaty system. Its core values reflect a high-performance organisation underpinned by a culture of shared beliefs.The Board (which is accountable to the Minister for Foreign Affairs) is now seeking a Chief Executive with prior experience in fostering cohesive organisational cultures that support collaboration.
