We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen's day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining hygiene standards. The position involves close collaboration with management and other staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan menus, estimate food and labor costs, and manage the ordering of food supplies.
Monitor the quality of dishes at every stage, from preparation to presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence.
Collaborate with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen staff to address food preparation issues and ensure dietary needs are met.
Demonstrate culinary techniques and provide guidance on cooking procedures to staff members.
Prepare and cook meals, maintaining the highest standards of taste and presentation.
Explain and enforce hygiene regulations, ensuring the kitchen meets health and safety standards.
Select, train, and manage kitchen staff as needed.
Manage food preservation processes, including freezing, to ensure food is stored safely.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
Ability to manage a team and provide training when necessary.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
