Chef

In this role, the main tasks include but not limited to the followings, -          Prepare a variety of dishes according to customers' order including their dietary requirements.
-          Ensure all meals are prepared and served in a timely manner.
-          Follow recipes and presentation specifications -          Assist in designing and updating the menus and develop new recipes or daily specials to keep the menu fresh and exciting and estimate cost of the food -          Make adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific dietary concerns -          Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times -          Ensure that all equipment and appliances are functioning correctly and report any issues to management.
-          Manage and minimize food waste by ensuring efficient use of ingredients -          Cleaning and maintaining a hygienic work environment at all times -          Strictly follow menu specifications as well as food safety -          Regularly check food storage and storage temperature and maintain proper labeling, dating, and rotation of stock, place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed -          Train staff on proper hygiene and food cooking procedures -          Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
-          Demonstrate new cooling techniques and equipment to staff and training new kitchen staff
