Aladdins Turkish café is an authentic Turkish restaurant and take away in Porirua Wellington.
We offer our customers a great food experience in Turkish cuisine, 7 days a week.
We urgently need an experienced chef to run our entire kitchen.
An immediate start is preferable.
Our opening hours are: Monday to Saturday: 9am - 8pm, Sunday: 9am - 4.30pm.
The successful candidate must be able to work on weekends when required.
Your Responsibilities will be: Assume overall responsibility for kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency Prepare and cook menu dishes using safe techniques, prepare marinades for meat dishes Propose seasonal dishes aligned with Turkish cuisine Estimate food and labour costs, and manage food supplies Maintain quality standards throughout food preparation and presentation Collaborate with the restaurant manager, kitchen, and waiting staff on food-related matters Enforce hygiene regulations Recruit and train kitchen staff   What we offer: ·        $27/h-$30/h depending on your experience ·        Ful time, permanent employment ·        Min 40h/week guaranteed (you will be rostered)   Job Prerequisites: Minimum 3 years of work experience in Turkish cuisine as a chef Available for work at weekends   If this sounds like you, please get in touch.
