About the role
We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at the Bay View Hotel in the Bay View Napier Hawkes Bay region. This is a full-time position, where you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our patrons.
What you'll be doing
Overseeing all food preparation and presentation to ensure consistent quality and standards
Working with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Collaborating with the management team to identify opportunities for menu and service improvements
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef
Strong working knowledge of Hospitality & Tourism , particularly in the Chefs/Cooks domain
Excellent culinary skills and a passion for creating innovative, flavorful dishes
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
Strong time management and organisational skills
Commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene
