Chefs x 2 
We are currently looking for 2 chefs to fill two permanent full-time vacant Chef positions in our restaurant in the Bay of Plenty.
You will be expected to work a minimum of 32 hours per week. 
Job responsibilities:
•   Ability to cook on a charcoal grill
•   planning menus, coming up with new ideas and understanding how to cost food, order food and general supplies, and comprehending the cost to produce plates including costs of staffing
•    monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation and delivery to the customer
•    discussing food preparation issues with other parties, including but not necessarily limited to Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
•    demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
•    understand how to grill, bbq, saute, fry, and prepare including dishes such as 
•    preparing and cooking food in a variety of manners
•    explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
•    may select and train staff as needs arise
•    may freeze and preserve foods
•    Ability to multitask 
Work experience:
We require the ideal candidate to have at least 3 years of work experience as a Chef, ideally in a busy restaurant setting. It is advantageous if the candidate has a familiarity with the Mediterranean Cuisine. What the job involves:
You will be organised into a rotating roster and you will be required to work all days of the week including the weekend with 2 days off.
What you will be rewarded with:
$30-33 per hour depending on experience
