We are looking for two experienced Chefs that specilise in Indian Curries and Tandoor. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating delectable dishes that represent the essence of Indian gastronomy.
Your duties will include:
Crafting innovative and traditional Indian recipes that delight our guests.
Preparation, seasoning and cooking of food
Maintaining high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Managing inventory, keeping records and ensuring the availability of fresh ingredients.
Ordering required kitchen materials on day to day basis
Planing menu and pricing the dishes
Estimating food requirements and labour costs
Ability to cater to any special food dietary requirements
Collaborating with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation efficiently.
Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
Investigate customer complaints regarding cooked food
Must be able to work independently without supervision
Must be a can-do attitude with cope up in busy peak hours
Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff members.
Adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
Comply with the Restaurant's Health and Safety Guidelines
Requirements:
Minimum three years of experience as an Indian Chef.
In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
Creativity and passion for exploring new flavours and culinary trends.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
Leadership abilities.
Must be prepared to work in the late nights, weekends and public holidays.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience starts from $25.00 - $30.00 an hour based on skills and experience.
