Chef De Partie

This job is required to perform: Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:  Determining plasterboard layout, and installing insulation and vapour barriers.  Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies.  Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.  Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff.  Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures.  Preparing and cooking food.  Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations.  May select and train staff.  May freeze and preserve foods. Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job  At least 3 years work experience in relevant industry OR A qualification is required in level 4 or above  Able to work independently as well as a team  Strong culinary skills with a good understanding of various cooking techniques.  Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.  Excellent organizational and time-management skills.  Leadership and team management abilities.  Ability to read plans and specifications  Working under pressure Primary address of work: Auckland Vacancy number: 3 Employment type: Permanent full time Minimum hours per week: 30 Hours Maximum hours per week: 40 Hours Minimum hourly rate (low salary range): $25/hour Maximum hourly rate (high salary range): $30/hour Pay frequent: Weekly
