We have an opportunity for a highly skilled business change manager to join our team.
Role This Change Manager role will suit a change management practitioner experienced in landing complex change well. You'll be readily able to demonstrate:
How you've led and facilitated complex change management, enabling sustained outcomes
The different methods and tools you apply at each phase of the change management lifecycle (how you design, deliver, evaluate and embed effective change interventions)
How you assess stakeholder impacts and pain points, and design the right change management interventions, based on this analysis
Expertise in all aspects of stakeholder engagement and change management, ensuring early adoption and high uptake
Proven skills in building capability with people leaders to lead change well
Expertise in enabling people to adopt new ways of thinking and working, with specific experience in competency development – including training needs analysis, training design, delivery and evaluation, and advanced coaching skills, as well as some experience in effecting cultural change
Evaluating and embedding change that will achieve lasting results.
You'll be a great team player with a can-do attitude, keen to keep learning; willing to lead a small, project-based change team on occasions; and able to coach colleagues in effective change management practices and techniques.
Ko koe tenei | About you You'll already be proficient in facilitating strategic or business change management, working with leaders to design and land change well. You'll be adept at working in ambiguity, able to problem solve and shape sound solutions. As well as your well-honed technical change management skillset, you'll bring a strong customer focus and sound operational and leadership experience.
You'll be used to working in fast-paced project and programme environments and will have a proven track record in achieving results. You'll have change management experience in either digital or business settings. Some experience in HR/OD change would be a bonus.
Ideally, you'll also bring knowledge of Te Ao Maori; and otherwise a commitment to learn about and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori, along with an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
