With its Head Office located in Albany on Auckland's North Shore, the business currently has operations across New Zealand, Australia, Asia, and the Pacific islands.

Some More Information About The Role The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company. This includes strategic financial planning, managing financial risks, and ensuring the overall financial health of the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial management in a high-growth environment and will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy of the group.

Your key responsibilities will include the following:
Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's long-term objectives.Oversee the preparation and analysis of all financial reporting, budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.Monitor financial performance, identifying any trends and variances.Identify and manage financial risks, implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Oversee cash flow management, capital structure, and investment strategies.Oversee all aspects of transfer pricing; you don't need to be a tax expert but you will need to be across this area.Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, Investors, and external partners. This is an excellent leadership role where you will be given full responsibility for the finance function of the business. You will also be lucky enough to inherit an extremely well-functioning and high-performing finance team.

So Who Are You & What Is Your Profile? To be considered for this role, you will need to be CA/CPA qualified and have already operated at a Head of Finance level. If you have had previous experience working as a CFO of a privately owned organisation, then that would be a real advantage.

You will have a proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and risk management, and you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your ability to communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including the CEO, Board of Directors, and SLT will be key. The business will be looking into a change of finance system in the not too distant future, so any experience with ERP implementation projects would be very useful.
