Centre Cook - Fixed Term Cover - Milford Preschool

We are looking for a creative Cook to join our Kindercare family. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking vegetarian meals for up to 50 children. Your understanding of children's nutritional needs and the ability to cater for dietary/allergy requirements is essential for this role.

The position:

Fixed term hours while our current Cook is away
Flexibility needed to work a full 8 hour day when required
Potential future relieving opportunities at the end of this fixed term
NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is a pre-requisite
Kindercare police vet all potential employees

An experienced Cook who is competent in preparing, cooking and serving food that follows our recipes
Committed to the highest standards of cleanliness, and adhering to our policies and procedures
A cheerful multi-tasker, with strong organisational and time management skills
Responsible for the smooth running of the centre's laundry, as well as cleaning duties
Proficient in verbal and written English
