Cctv Operator Infrastructure · Auckland - Operations

Details of the offer

Are you a bit of a character who could be our next CCTV Operator?
At Intergroup, our people are real good characters who have each other's backs every day.
And we're after more characters like you to come and join us!
What's the job?
Intergroup are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial services, coatings, and infrastructure.
You may not have heard of us, but we do a lot - and we've got aspirations to be number one in every area we deliver.
The only thing stopping us is needing more people!
That's where you come in, are you up for the challenge?
You'll be responsible for operating CCTV pipeline inspection equipment to inspect and perform maintenance work on water infrastructure assets for both council and private parties.
You'll benefit from: Job security - we're an essential service and there will always be work for you.
A hands-on training programme with a wide range of courses.
A welcoming, helpful team - our characters are down to earth and all willing to muck in to give each other a hand - everyone feels like they belong here.
Heaps of development and opportunities for growth.
True health and safety - you'll never have to work in an unsafe environment or in a situation where you feel uncomfortable.
The chance to work on iconic projects that have helped your communities and that you can be proud of - such as keeping stormwater drains clear to prevent flooding.
Are you the right fit?
You'll be a character who's always wanting to learn and grow - your voice matters here, and you'll be empowered to make decisions, not just take directions.
We're hoping you'll be enthusiastic and have a can-do attitude, along with good communication skills.
You may be required to work out of town from time to time.
The technical stuff you'll need includes: A current driver's licence and the ability to reverse vehicles confidently in tight spaces.
Minimum three years' experience in the operation of this type of equipment (please specify equipment).
A working knowledge of day-to-day job planning and instructions to meet contract requirements.
Knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools, equipment, and procedures used to conduct video inspections of underground infrastructure.
Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems including Hazard Analysis.
Skills including assigning work, training, and implementing work standards.
The flexibility to work after hours as and when required.
We pride ourselves on providing a great team environment, career progression opportunities, and offer a very competitive hourly rate based on experience and skillset.
So come and join our great team today - and show us your character!
