About The opportunity | Ko te aheinga: Are you a multi-skilled person who has experience in tractor/mower operation, takes pride in your work, is committed to safe work practice, physically fit, and wants to work in a positive team? A position has become available at the Hawkes Bay Regional Council Works Group working as a catchment worker focusing on the operation of one of Council's long reach mowers based out of Guppy Road, Taradale. About you | E pa ana ki a koe: We are seeking a person with a broad range of practical skills who has extensive experience in the operation of agricultural machinery. You will be committed to safe work practices, have a positive attitude to health and safety, and be comfortable working independently or in a team environment. Alongside this, you will: Have solid documentation skills and be technically competent in the use of mobile electronic devices. Be able to communicate effectively with a broad range of people including landowners and Council engineers. Have a positive attitude toward health and safety in the workplace and be comfortable working both independently and in a team environment. Be fit and healthy. Have a clean current Class 1 driver's license; RTW would be an advantage.
