The Data and Reporting Improvements team is focused on delivering a small number of key projects designed to automate and/or reimagine how we deliver some of our core data and reporting products to help reduce the effort of production and improve QA processes.
Likely areas of focus will be climate models, the Greenhouse Gas Inventory, environmental reporting, and national monitoring system.
The Data and Reporting Improvements team is fixed term to drive improvements that will then be embedded through other teams.
Nga pukenga me nga wheako Skills and experience: Our ideal candidate will bring: A mix of data, analysis, and advisory skills.
Experience in data management including developing and deploying ETL processes.
Experience designing, developing, and implementing database or datalake schemas and pipelines in a cloud platform.
Strong programming skills (for example R or Python).
Experience with agile project delivery methods.
Strong attention to detail.
Whanuitanga Utu a-Tau Salary range: Salary range for this role is $79,598 to $96,372 pa.
Appointment within this range will be based on skills and experience.
