This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of our operations, delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.
**Key Responsibilities:** - **Customer Interaction:** Respond to incoming calls and inquiries from guests and potential guests in a professional and timely manner, providing information about hotel accommodations, amenities, and services.
- **Problem Resolution:** Handle customer complaints or issues with confidence and resourcefulness to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Proactively offer solutions and escalate complex issues to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
- **Reservation Management:** Accurately process customer reservations, modifications, and cancellations using the property management system.
Ensure all information is correctly entered and available to the hotel staff.
- **Sales Support:** Promote hotel services and upsell additional amenities and packages during calls to maximize revenue opportunities and enhance guest experiences.
- **Documentation and Reporting:** Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
Collaborate with management to identify recurring issues and suggest improvements.
- **Project Management and Research:** Assist in ongoing projects by performing necessary research and providing feedback that can contribute to decision-making and strategy development within the team.
- **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with other team members and departments to coordinate responses and deliver a seamless customer experience.
- **Training:** Participate in training sessions to enhance skills, knowledge, and customer service techniques to stay updated with the latest developments in hotel offerings and industry standards.
**Requirements:** - **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or business management is a plus.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
Familiarity with property management systems is an advantage.
- **Personality Traits**: - Confident in communicating with a diverse range of clients.
- Resourceful and able to think on your feet when faced with challenging situations.
- **Soft Skills**: - Strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
