Since Riviera Hardware Holdings inception in 2009, where we started out with a small local Mitre 10 store in Warkworth, we have grown to be the largest group of stores within the Mitre 10 national network. We are proud to offer our customers a shopping experience like no other in New Zealand's largest hardware retail store; Mitre 10 MEGA Albany as well as New Lynn, Warkworth, Whangaparoa and Silverdale, which boast Columbus Coffee shops. We also have a Distribution Centre and own our own Frame and Truss Manufacturing Plant.
Partnering with Columbus Coffee, one of New Zealand's most recognized brands, we have a unique and successful partnership serving premium cafe food and award-winning coffees from within our Mitre 10 MEGA Stores. Our Café, located within Mitre 10 MEGA Whangaparaoa, is the hub of hustle and bustle, accompanied by the light, bright, open plan design; it's the perfect meeting spot for our local community to come together.
About the job
Competitive rate; generous staff purchase scheme at select Columbus Cafés and Mitre 10 store; no night shifts (opening hours are 7-4); opportunities to grow and develop within the larger team. Sunday and Monday (07:30-15:00) - 14 hours a week.
About the role
Our ideal staff member will be a Cook or Chef that is self-driven, experienced, and has a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. The ability to work calmly under pressure is a must.
What will you bring?
At least a year of previous baking or cooking experience, preferably in a cafe environment.
Understanding of FCP and H&S requirements.
Flexible in availability – must be available to cover some weekends and public holidays.
Clear, strong communication skills are a must.
Most importantly, a passion for providing exceptional food and beverages.
Availability to commit to the above roster pattern.
