Mo te turanga | About the Role
Reporting to the Area Manager, our ideal candidate genuinely enjoys helping customers and has a track record for delivering excellent service. This role involves assisting business customers with requests such as home lending, business lending, equipment finance, and credit cards. You will also contribute to customer retention by proactively contacting customers in response to needs-based leads. Working closely with internal business partners across Westpac, you will take ownership of ensuring business customers get the support they need, when they need it.

Passion for delivering top-notch service to business customers.Strong understanding of Credit Risk and prior Credit Analysis experience.Business/Commercial lending experience is required.An interest in learning about business lending and a desire to pursue a career in Business Banking.Excellent verbal and oral communication skills to represent the business unit in a friendly and professional manner.Initiative, ownership for delivering what is promised, and a willingness to learn.Some form of tertiary qualification in Finance / Accounting is preferred.
