Account & Relationship Management (Sales) Job Title: Business Manager – Bay of Plenty Location: BOP Salary: $95,000 + Company Vehicle, Laptop, Cell Phone, Health Plan Reports To: General Manager- Sales Business Areas: Fuels, Mini Tankers – BOP, Aviation Lubes, Fuel Card, and Commercial Lubes Position Summary: As a Business Manager for the Bay of Plenty, you will be responsible for driving growth and managing the GOfuel brand across multiple sectors, including mini tankers, marinas fuels, fuel cards, and commercial lubes.
Your role will encompass sales performance, operational logistics, and team leadership, ensuring the seamless delivery of products and services while meeting budget targets and company standards.
Key Responsibilities: Grow GOfuel's market share in the region.
Develop and manage a sales pipeline to ensure business growth.
Drive new business acquisition and retain existing customer relationships.
Increase share of wallet by expanding services with existing customers.
Promote and grow the Mini Tanker, marinas fuels, fuel card, and aviation lubes sectors.
Build strong relationships with clients and effectively manage customer complaints.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and address service-related issues promptly.
Meet and exceed KPIs for profit, margin, customer spend, and volumes.
Regularly report performance results and identify areas for growth.
Help lead a high-performing team of drivers, including recruitment, training, and development.
Foster a positive work culture and ensure on-time deliveries.
Plan and manage delivery runs to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Budgeting & Financial Management: Manage the financial budget for the region, adhering to company policies.
Oversee capex applications and ensure fiscal responsibility.
Champion a health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
Skills & Qualifications: Proven sales and account management experience.
Strong staff management and leadership abilities.
Analytical skills, particularly in Excel and data analysis to identify opportunities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in business development and customer interaction.
Commercial acumen, including experience with P&L management and risk assessment.
Industry experience is preferred but not essential.
