Due to some significant growth, we are looking for a Business Director to join our Wellington office.
The Business Director provides leadership for our team and clients by ensuring excellence of delivery across all aspects of our business. We're looking for someone who's tenacious and capable to take hands-on responsibility for delivering best-in-class service for a group of fantastic NZ Brands.
Responsibilities You will take day-to-day strategic leadership responsibility for a group of clients, making sure they are getting the best advice and service that we can provide.
Focus on the 'bigger picture' to provide strategic, pertinent, and concise direction that serves client needs as well as driving the internal team's direction.
You will help shape the MBM teams' formation of all communication planning and the experience that customers will get at all touch points and sell the work with passion and enthusiasm.
You will have direct report management capability, as well as leadership skills for working with internal specialist contributions as required.
You will be a strong team-led thinker who knows how to get the best of the people that you manage and work with.
You will have the ability to elevate strategic conversations with clients, partners and peers beyond.
About You Minimum 6+ years' experience with a robust knowledge of the NZ media landscape.
Strong understanding of media fundamentals and strategic planning capability across all channels.
Ability to show strategic leadership that inspires those around you; both internally and externally.
The ability to talk to full ecosystem planning, across all facets of communication including paid media, owned media, the application of data towards media efficiencies and connection of channels/formats to creative execution.
Problem-solving capabilities and great communication skills.
Be relationship-led with great people skills to develop and mentor others.
