This role is not based in Auckland.About the Role:This role requires someone to live in either Hamilton or Tauranga to service the region's needs.Reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer and sitting within a tight-knit nationwide team, this role is responsible for owning the relationships with key franchisees and other key customers.The official role title is "Area Sales Manager" - however, we have called this role "Business Partner" given the role's requirement to proactively drive performance and growth with a strong focus on generating revenue for these key customers.This role requires credibility in the space of financial services, exceptional relationship management and business development skills, along with business acumen and communication skills.This role requires travel around the Waikato/BOP regions (typically Tuesday to Thursday) collaborating with customers and facilitating an exceptional customer experience and mutually beneficial business outcomes.This role needs to be based in Hamilton or Tauranga, covering the Waikato/BOP regions, focusing on Hamilton, Cambridge, Matamata, Whakatane, Rotorua, Tauranga and Mount Manganui.About You:We are looking for someone who is moving from Auckland to Hamilton or Tauranga, with relationship management experience from the financial services sector.You will have experience coaching and driving commercial performance in B2B environments.An understanding of the motor vehicle industry is helpful but not essential.With strong EQ and business acumen, you can build rapport and credibility with a diverse group of customers, acting as a consultant for their business.You will have excellent project management and communication skills, maintaining an up-to-date complex customer database, with the ability to think on your feet and provide bespoke solutions.You are upbeat, action-oriented, solutions-focused, adaptive, and enthusiastic.
