Role overview
As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Hawkes Bay branch. You will lead a team of professionals, manage client relationships, and ensure the successful execution of construction projects, build relationship and the brand reputation. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our standards of quality and safety while driving profitability and growth. Your goal is to shape a high-performance culture to meet our client's needs.
What does this look like?
Manage daily operations of the branch, including project oversight, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals.
Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff to enhance performance and career growth.
Build a culture of success and excellence
Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
What do you need to succeed?
Tertiary qualification in Civil construction, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction management, or senior project management, with a proven track record in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, safety regulations, and project management principles, commercial/financial management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyse financial reports and manage budgets effectively – to optimise utilisation and efficiency
Proficiency in civil construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
