Job Description This is a remote position.
Responsibilities :

Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks
Perform bank reconciliations
Process payroll and handle tax remittances
Reconcile daily transactions from the POS system
Handle approximately 12 bank transactions per day on average
Manage invoices and payments
Follow instructions provided in the transition file for bookkeeping processes
Work remotely for approximately 20 hours per week
Requirements :

Proficiency in QuickBooks
Experience with restaurant bookkeeping preferred
Knowledge of Canadian tax regulations and remittance procedures
Ability to work independently and remotely
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Scope :

Manage all bookkeeping duties for a single restaurant location
Handle financial transactions and reconciliations on a daily basis
Prepare and submit necessary financial reports and tax documents
Communicate effectively with the restaurant owner regarding financial matters
Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information
Monday to Friday anywhere between 9 AM to 6 PM PST (20 hours per week)
