Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooksPerform bank reconciliationsProcess payroll and handle tax remittancesReconcile daily transactions from the POS systemHandle approximately 12 bank transactions per day on averageManage invoices and paymentsFollow instructions provided in the transition file for bookkeeping processesWork remotely for approximately 20 hours per weekRequirements:

Proficiency in QuickBooksExperience with restaurant bookkeeping preferredKnowledge of Canadian tax regulations and remittance proceduresAbility to work independently and remotelyStrong attention to detail and accuracyScope:

Manage all bookkeeping duties for a single restaurant locationHandle financial transactions and reconciliations on a daily basisPrepare and submit necessary financial reports and tax documentsCommunicate effectively with the restaurant owner regarding financial mattersMaintain confidentiality and security of financial informationMonday to Friday anywhere between 9 AM to 6 PM PST (20 hours per week)
