Key Responsibilities:
Job Description:
 

Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the store, including tracking sales, expenses, and bank reconciliations.


Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor payments, and ensure timely receipt of customer payments.


Payroll Management: Calculate and process employee payroll, including deductions, taxes, and benefits.


Inventory and Expense Tracking: Assist in tracking inventory purchases and stock levels, ensuring accurate costing and reporting of goods sold.


Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.


Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, and ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations.


Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing and managing budgets, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and reduce costs.


Auditing and Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.


General Ledger Management: Ensure accurate data entry and coding of transactions within the accounting software.


Cashflow: monitoring cashflow to ensure smoothy operations of the business and make bank deposits.


Support: Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

 
 
Qualifications:
NZQF Level 4 qualification or above, or at least two years of relevant experience. 
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
On the job training may be required.
