As a senior member of the BAS team, you'll be working closely alongside the Partners and Directors on a range of clients from different industries.
Owning the end-to-end tasks for an established portfolio of clientsPreparation of financial statements, tax planning & other compliance duties as well reviewing the work of junior staff membersManage and monitor the commercial aspects of an engagement to achieve desired levels of quality and profitability, including workflow management, expected utilization and productivity targetsManaging the relationship and contact with clientsThe ideal candidate Experience of 3-6 years in an established NZ Accounting practice at a supervisory/reviewer levelSolid working experience of Xero packages as well as industry toolsStrong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirementsPassed experience working in engaging with outsourced providers would be idealStakeholder management and ability to communicate directly with clientsExcellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor, coach and motivate team members.Culture & Environment
